About TrueNorth

Our co-founder, Jin Stedge, grew up in a family of owner-operators. Years later while she was working on autonomous trucks, her cousin Tom was still making 40 phone calls to book one load—just like their grandparents did. The industry was betting on automation, but the people keeping freight moving—carriers and brokers—were left without the right tools.

So she launched a trucking company, built the technology needed to run it, and proved it on the road. That foundation evolved into TrueNorth’s platform today: all-in-one software designed to make life easier for both carriers and brokers.

What We Do

TrueNorth built an AI system, Loadie, that makes booking and moving freight simpler for everyone.

For carriers, Loadie serves as a virtual dispatcher—pulling in freight from multiple sources and recommending the best options based on location, preferences, equipment and profitability. Carriers can interact with Loadie by app or voice, so booking a load is as easy as asking.

For brokers, Loadie eliminates the burden of finding and connecting with qualified carriers. Posting loads takes minutes, and the system instantly and intelligently matches brokers with the best carriers. Loadie then communicates with interested carriers to book the loads fast and easy.
